Matcha tea is a finely ground green tea powder renowned for its vibrant colour, and smooth flavour. It's made from young, shade-grown tea leaves and has enormous cultural significance in Japan in particular. While traditionally whisked in water to make a frothy hot beverage, matcha is now commonly used as a baking ingredient, added to smoothies or chia pots and in matcha lattes.

Directions for use:

Whisk 1 teaspoon of true matcha powder with 1 tablespoon of hot water until its smooth, Pour 1 cup of steamed milk of choice over the matcha paste, continually whisking until its combined and frothy. Enjoy! Optional: Sweeten to taste with true honey.
