True Foods Organic Ceylon Cinnamon is also known as “true cinnamon”. Compared to the more common cassia cinnamon it has a more subtle, delicate and sweet flavour. Cinnamon has a long history both as a spice and as a medicine.

Its unique healing abilities come from three components in the essential oils found in its bark: cinnamaldehyde, cinnamyl acetate and cinnamyl alcohol.

Directions for use:

Add 1/2-1 teaspoon of cinnamon to give flavour to home baking, breads, curries, sauces and vegetable dishes. Also delicious in hot drinks and sprinkled over porridge.
