Peptan Collagen Peptides – Collagen is a unique protein that makes up to 70% of the skin while also being the most abundant protein in the body. Collagen is the major insoluble fibrous protein in the extracellular matrix of the skin, with the most abundant form being type 1 Collagen. Collagen peptides are a special form of collagen in which the protein has been hydrolysed. This means that the protein is broken down into smaller chains of amino acids, making it bioavailable and more easily absorbed by the body.

Phytoceramides – Environmental factors such as cold weather and sun exposure, can have a detrimental effect on the skin. This skin is the barrier between the body and the environment around us and Ceramides play a key role in the skins barrier function. Ceramides are a type of naturally occurring, long-chain fatty acid which make up to 50% of the skins epidermis (it’s outer layer). Phytoceramides refer to Ceramides derived from plants, as opposed to synthetic or animal-derived Ceramides.

Hyaluronic Acid – The skin is the heaviest and largest organ in the body, making up about one seventh of our body weight. Daily environmental damage combined with the normal process of aging, causes moisture loss. A key molecule involved in skin moisture is Hyaluronic Acid – a compound that has a unique capacity to bind and retain water molecules. While Hyaluronic Acid is found in many areas of the body, up to 50% can be found in the skin.

Biotin – Biotin is one of the eight B vitamins. In some countries it’s referred to as vitamin H, which is derived from ‘Haar und Haut’ – the German words for ‘hair and skin’. Biotin is also a water-soluble vitamin, which plays a role in the maintenance of hair and skin. It cannot be made by the body and therefore must be taken in through a normal balanced diet and/or supplementation.

Vitamin C – Contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin & contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Selenium – Contributes to the maintenance of normal hair & maintenance of normal nails.

Biotin – Contributes to the maintenance of normal hair & maintenance of normal skin.

Copper – Contributes to normal hair pigmentation & normal skin pigmentation.

Vitamin E – Contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Directions

It is recommended to take one sachet a day, at any time of the day, after food, in 200ml-300ml of water.
