Nordic Naturals Prenatal DHA is a pure and fresh source of the omega-3s that your growing baby needs for brain and nervous system development, and that support a healthy pregnancy for you. Maternal intake of DHA contributes to the normal development of the eyes and brain of the foetus and breast-fed infants. DHA also helps support normal vision and brain function. Two soft gels fulfill the recommended daily serving of omega-3 DHA for pregnant and lactating women, and includes 400 IU vitamin D3 for added immune support. The fish oil used is in the triglyceride molecular form—the form naturally found in fish, and the form your body most easily absorbs. It comes exclusively from 100% wild-caught sardines and anchovies. The Vitamin D3 (or cholecalciferol) included is the natural form of vitamin D produced by the body, and is better absorbed and utilized than other forms.
Two soft gels contain:
Easy-to-swallow, smaller soft gel size
Purified deep sea fish oil (from anchovies and sardines), soft gel capsule (gelatin, glycerin, water), d-alpha tocopherol (antioxidant Vitamin E), vitamin D3 (olive oil, cholecalciferol).
