Natures Aid Vitamin D3 – 90 Tablets

Natures Aid Vitamin D3 1000iu is a daily Vitamin D supplement, providing 1000iu of Vitamin D3 – the most active form of this nutrient. This strength of Vitamin D is safe for longer term use if required.  For your peace of mind Natures Aid Vitamin D3 1000iu is gluten, lactose, yeast, soya and dairy free.  It is also suitable for vegetarians.

Vitamin D is a fat soluble nutrient which supports your body in many ways. Perhaps the most well-known role for Vitamin D, is the one it plays in supporting the proper absorption and utilisation of calcium, and therefore, the maintenance of healthy bones and teeth. Additionally, Vitamin D helps to reduce the risk of falling associated with postural instability and muscle weakness. Falling is a major risk factor for bone fractures among men and women over the age of 60. On top of all this, Vitamin D also helps to support normal muscle function and contributes to a healthy immune system.

It can be quite difficult to make sure that your diet provides all the vitamin D your body requires, the most common food sources are oily fish, liver, and eggs.
